The value we place on our team is more than just in what they can do but in who they are. As they say yes to the calling God has placed on their lives to build the church, we have the responsibility to steward their gifts well. Our 5 focus areas create an overarching view of a team member’s journey from onboarding to operation with the potential for leadership, allowing you to have clear visibility at each stage.
As people join our team, we want to be sure they are connected to the mission and values our church holds, along with giving them a clear understanding of culture and expectations. As they continue in their time on team, we also want to monitor their health, considering not only their growth in a role, but what’s happening in their world.
Team members will be on a consistent journey of learning and developing in their roles and team culture. Through clear process and instruction, we are committed to providing space for this growth in the form of encouragement, resources, and training.
In order to build the House, we need a blueprint! Equipping our team to see the vision and giving them resources to outwork this calling allows each of us to be confident in our roles and creates space for each of us to worship freely in our serving, not worried about what comes next.
Discipleship has always been a part of Jesus’ guidelines for the church and for many, serving on team is their only form of community. In our serving, we should equip leaders who can be a healthy influence in the lives our of team and pour into each other through prayer and fellowship.
Caring for our team includes providing intentional resources and tools to make building and development possible. These tools are strategically designed to effectively monitor and elevate the care, development and operation of our team. Utilizing them will help us streamline our focus areas, creating clear guidelines for tracking information, with room for further growth on our teams. While Mission Supply & Mission List are to be used by team, Mission Status is an internal resource.
Process and resources should not be limited to leaders, but integrated throughout our entire team. Our team will be able to meet expectations because objectives are clearly communicated. These pages collect all necessary information for our team to join and serve. Any key information that a team member would need to know should be able to be found here in these central pages. Team members should always have access to these pages and the resources within them.
